Horolography - noun, the art of photographing timepieces.
Many fellow watch enthusiasts are also interested in photography. Perhaps it's because we are so passionate about our collections that we want to properly document everything. Or perhaps it's just driven by the forums where we all hang out. After all, a picture speaks a thousand words and I'm not much of a writer...
I started this blog so that I can share my experiences with other photo and wristwatch enthusiasts. And to showcase my wristwatch photography of course. My watch photos have appeared in several magazines.

Photography websites
Although there aren't many websites about wristwatch photography, there are of course many websites dedicated to photography in general. I highly recommend strobist.com if you want to learn about lighting with off camera flash. For information about photo gear you should check out dpreview.com.Gear
My gear currently consists of a Nikon D700 body, a Nikkor 105mm VR micro lens, Nikkor 70-200 Zoom, Nikkor 50mm 1.4 prime lens, Nikkor 14-24 2.8 Zoom, one Nikon SB800 and two Nikon SB900 speedlights. I started out with a SU-800 wireless flash controller but I use Elinchrom Skyports only now.Panerai
There's so much to learn about this amazing brand and its loyal followers. The best resource entirely dedicated to Panerai and the Paneristi is of course paneristi.com. Other great forums that I regularly frequent are Timezone's Officine Panerai forum and the Purist Pro Panerai forum. If you want to learn about vintage Panerai then www.vintagepanerai.com is a must-read.Thanks for reading,
