PAM380 Radiomir Black Seal Logo

One of the two watches that I didn't get to photograph at the 2011 SIHH is the new PAM380. Luckily there was another opportunity recently when this watch was in Amsterdam for a demo. If I'm correct, this new 45mm Radiomir is the first and only Radiomir to have the OP logo on the dial.

The PAM380 is a great looking watch that's also suitable as a dress watch. Although the case is a little bit bigger than the 44mm Luminor watches, it will fit better under a sleeve because it doesn't sit high on the wrist. This is generally the case with the Radiomir models with the exception of perhaps the 287 which has a thicker case because of its automatic movement.

Subseconds dial on the nine o'clock position

The PAM380 has a subseconds dial. Hand wound mechanical Luminor watches are called Marina models. I think this isn't true for the same watches that have a Radiomir case instead. The watch has the hand-wound mechanical ETA based Panerai OPII movement with a 56 hour power reserve. The 380 has a solid case back. If you are interested in a 45mm base Radiomir then have a look at this post: PAM210 Radiomir 45mm.

The logo is also showing on the onion shaped crown as you can see in the above photo. The watch comes with a black calf strap and a removable steel buckle with the logo engraved.
